I have just noticed that my NS DiD auto has a slight problem when accelerating as it changes gear or is about to change there is a stutter either from the motor or gearbox. I haven't narrowed it exactly which one is at fault. This is when it is being pushed >3000RPM
From rolling you put the boot in (as if overtaking etc) and its pulling like a train then you are rocked forward from deceleration and then it picks up again. Its only momentary! I checked with the other half and she finally says 'oh this has happened to me before I thought it was going to stall', just great now she tells me! after just having it serviced http://140.99.20.180/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif
. I suspect I have been mothering the car up till now running it in etc and never really pushed it hard before. My wife just drives it like our old car (Subaru Forester GT - Turbo 2.0L - a little rocket ship) so has obviously put the boot in much more than me.
What makes it worse is today I tried emulating the problem and was able to get the problem replicated earlier in the day and then could not.
Any ideas? Anyone else had anything similar?
By the way I have had the ECU update done but as mentioned this has happened to my wife which was before this update.
Thanks
John
