50 sparklers wrapped in electrical tape. Opps

Following "Grant Thompson - "The King of Random" from youtube I made this.
50 sparklers with 5 wraps of electrical tape. He held his and it was just like a hand held fountain.
Harmless enough I thought. Glad I the common sense not to hang on to mine!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

        Great stuff!

I presume Orange is a bit short on night time entertainment. No longer - Goodsy's in town!

        Cheers

What ever happened to the big one you were making?

I was looking forward to that one.

I made a couple of sparkler flares back in the day, great fun.
We filled old tins with the sparkler dust and used a sparkler as a wick.

Although we also used to do clever things like cut a slit in tennis balls, submergege them in petrol, then light them up and throw them to each other.

One time we used a piece of pipe in a frame sitting in the fire like a mortar and dropped deoderant cans down into it.

          Ahh, the good old days.

When I was a kid I used to fill a matchbox up with crushed sparklers then wrapped it really really tightly in masking tape(maybe 3mm thick worth of tape) then used another sparkler as a fuse. Give it a crack!

Didn't have sparklers when I was a kid. The old man used to load his own shotgun cartridges, so I had a good substitute. More than one letter box mysteriously vapourised with a loud bang.
