Mitsubishi Motors' Multi Communication System (MMCS) is not only an advanced navigation function, it?s also an integrated communication tool that informs the driver of a multitude of vehicle information such as fuel economy, driving speed, ... as well as out-board environmental information, maintenance instructions, air conditioning and audio settings. What's more, MMCS offers safe driving support systems, for example, an integrated reverse camera.
The top UK spec all-new Outlander (launched in November) will come as standard with a new enhanced multi-communication system which is even cleverer than before! There are various technical improvements including an ECO route search which searches the route with the lowest possible fuel consumption based on elevation and map data!
Another cool change, amongst other tweaks, is that the driver can see guidance information from the vehicles? navigation screen in the instrument cluster in front of them, resulting in safe confirmation of guidance without having to massively shift their line of vision. All interesting, clever stuff. (I want one : )
