How to find chassis and engine number 4G54

Hi folks.

Need your help to locate chassis number and engine number on block.
It’s a 1990 4G54

Scorp (imported)engine numbers have two lines. First line is 4G54, and the second line is 2 letters followed by 4 numbers, eg. AA0201.

Australian engines start with M.

M = Astron
4 = 2.0L, 5 = 2.6L
3 = Std. Perf, 5 = Turbo
1 = Auto, 2 = Manual
L = 1979, M = 1980, N = 1981
Then a 5 digit serial #, commencing from #1 in each engine and transmission type.

Assuming that Gav's old Scorp has a manual block (i think it does cause of the supra box) then that engine # is no good.

Astron, 2.6L, (cough) std. perf (cough), AUTO, 1985, 32174.
