    DIY roof centre console

My brother and i fitted a Dept. of the interior roof overhead console in his BT50 and they look bloody great! However i don't want to spend big bucks so i started to make my own..this is work in progress - and is gonna look great for about $100 in material and some busy weekends..

good start there by the looks. Also going the lightweight style with thin ply cladding over a lightweight timber frame (caravan cupboard style). Nice. Look forward to seeing the progress and finished product.

Yeah still in progress. Waiting for my old man to finish the vinyl part/sewing. It's very light weight construction with 6mm ply with 10mm square stock for structure. Got Baintech USB charger which is mounted in the storage compartment. Attached a pic of the latest progress

not yet as the sewing machine is waiting for spare parts. Very soon there will be more work done.
