    New interior!

Well today I fitted NL GLS seats into the NJ GLX. No major issues with the job except the 2nd row seats are 2 separate seats so bolt to the floor in the middle as well as the sides whereas the NJ only bolts onto the edges. The holes were in the floor but they didn't have nuts welded inside so I need just used some nuts and bolts.

At the same time I removed my 3rd row seats as I never use them and they take up room.

Of the NL GLS I also collected the door trims and the centre console. I managed to get the console in after using some super long screws to reach the NJ floor bracket but the bloody electric window switches are different and the looms are different too so I couldn't fit the door trims which is a shame. I'll have to find some NJ GLS door trims.

All in all, it looks great and are much more comfortable to sit in.

    Cheers,

    Emu

Sounds like a fun job to liven up the NL a bit.

When doing those centre nut/bolts, be sure to use large round plates under the floor to prevent any risk of them pulling through the panel should anything go awkward.

I have an NL Console in the NJ, Just used a little Channel to make the diff, 50mm from memory, the NL Console is boss, Its higher and has the drink holder.

So i have lumbar support, somewhere to rest my limb and store a open can of coke.

Fitted the Compressor & Spotlight overrides to the spare switch points.

      Rear seat sounds boss.

Need photos man, I'm dying over here haha
The central locking ECU should be similar so you can just go to jaycar and buy male/female plugs and wire them yourself if they're not mating together
If the c/locking ecu's are different just get the c/locking ECU out of the nl

Washers on the outside, under the floor so they don't pull through.

Was thinking of doing the same with my centre console, any difference between the 3ltr and 3.5ltr centre consoles?

Much difference between the front seats? I've never really taken much notice but keen to change or upgrade my front seats as there majorly worn.

My old console was rubbish. Just an open tray. The new one is excellent. Sits up at the same level as the arm rests on the captains chair.

The NL GLS seats are 100% nicer than the NJ GLX seats in terms of comfort and look...

OK so due to popular demand here are a few pics of the paj

Have retrofitted a/c, front bar, spotties, NL GLS seats, h/duty towbar, stereo, new front speakers.

                      Removed 3rd row seats.

New rear speakers being installed soon...

                      Cheers,

That's one tidy looking Paj, the seats definitely do the interior justice.
Did the seats just bolt in? and with the console, did you just swap the rear tray section or the whole lot?

                          Hi Pauly,

Yep seats bolted straight in, very simple job.
And I just swapped the rear section of the console over, very easy job and waaaay more practical than the GLX tray.

                          Cheers,
