Hello pickle and thanks for the info on the 2013 model. During my escapades in Tassie over the last month I continually used the paddle shifts for downhill runs and constantly held first or second over 4000rpm without up shift. this was towing an 1800kg exodus 11 hardtop camper. I was pleasantly surprised and with a touch of the brakes was able to continually hold my gear on some very steep decents in low and high range. My 2012 PB auto is standard but for a set of cooper atr3 265/65/17.

4000 rpm engine braking in low 1st.

I hope this is a A/T ECU program upgrade that can be done on pre 2012 models. The 3000 rpm then change up to 2nd is painful when you know about it and down right dangerous when you forget or don't know about it.

          cheers, old Jack.

Thanks for the change in video format, I've never lost one of those wires to the back brake area, but they do look exposed and I sometimes wonder what can be done to protect them. The Terracan I had before used to pick up sticks and branches around the spring area, but touch wood, have never had that with the PB.
Am looking forward to your summary of the drive.

                  Cheers

Interesting! One of the early (4WD Mag) test drives a couple of years ago had the same issue with an ABS wire getting ripped off. Thought that would have been tidied up by now.

Do the 2013 front seats give you any more leg room over the early models?

Seeing as they are the exact same 4wd I'd say not....

Well they updated the height adjuster and removed the rear seat slide, so anything is possible!
