    1985 SWB Pajero 4M41 build

    Hi all,

I've a 2.5TD Pajero with some couple of mods, but that's not enough for me, so i´m gonna starting to rebuild it with some extra power .

It will be powered by a 3.2 DID 4M41 engine out of a 2002 Pajero, it will be controled by a full mechanical pump, and put its full power on the road by a 2.8 TD Pajero gearbox.

I'm gonna do a list for what i'm going to do and the actual specs of it but now here's a few pictures of it

    Hi Hotpaj,
Very interested in how you will get the 4m41 to run with a mechanical pump.

In a few days I should get the mechanical pump, I will install it and test it before I send it to be modified, I will do a short video of it

My understanding of the non CRD 4m41 fuel pump is it is still a mechanical injection pump but with electronic control of the throttle.

I have always wondered how one would go with a full mechanical pump from a 2.8L 4m40.

Genuinely curious on this. Is it possible to adapt an older mechanical "VE" injector pump to run with the direct injection 4M41?
Is there an injector that can be fitted to the 3.2 with a crack pressure compatible to what the mechanical pump can provide but still over come DI cylinder pressures?

If possible, sounds like an interesting project.
