We live in Coffs and fancy driving to Uluru via Broken Hill and back via Mount Isa (south one way and north the other anyhow). We'll be in our gen 4 Pajero, but another couple will be in their Subaru Outback.
What would people recommend to see and do?
Are there any slight offroad tracks worth doing, or will having the Outback in tow hamper this option?
We're thinking of 3 weeks to a month to complete the trip and going around April time next year.
