centre diff lock flashing light

ok just making sure im looking for the right problem centre diff wont engage light just flashes should I be looking for electrical problem or vacuum issue?????? I think I should be looking at elec switches on transfer case and work back but just wanted to make sure thanks in advance great forum

Firstly, are you positive centre diff isn't locking or just going off the 4wd lights?
If centre is flashing then I would just be checking the centre diff lock switch.

yes pretty sure it is not locking in have tried doing a u turn on loose gravel and can here no slipping and if I attempt to go up a slippery hill all I get is the left hand front wheel spinning

That's what my nl was doing only turning front left.
But I kept going in and out of 4wd and it came good after a week or so.
It still does it occasionally but I run it in and out a few times and it works again.

Hi guys i got this sorted this afternoon went for a drive out in the bush and after
a while the light went solid.
