I have 3.15 reduction so 66% reduction, this means in 4LLc 1st gear at 3500rpm ish (power range for torque on the 6G74) max torque the vehicle is only traveling 5km/h instead of 15km/h+ which makes for a safe approach to the hard stuff. Additionally when going down steep incline the lower gearing allows for better engine braking.

Well I picked it up and runs well, has a little smoke after idle so will ook at getting that fixed when timing belt and pump get done.
Just did brakes all round this afternoon as they were needed, all fluids soon.
These ride so well, alot better than my triton 2x4 cab. Ha.
