    Crash repairer in SA

    Greetings,

Well had a bit of a bingle this afternoon. Bent BB in side swipe and now on the hunt for a reputable crash repairer in SA. No panel damage nor paint. Just a slight rub mark on guard which I think will buff out. Bloody lucky.

Just clipped BB and bent forward and will need replacing under insurance. There appears to be no other damage but want to make sure.

So, can anyone in SA recommend a crash repairer?

    No one hurt just pride.

    Cheers & thanks.

    Steve

Magill Motor bodies, 651 Magill Rd, Magill.

We had 3 quotes, the 1st was over $1,200, the second was still up there. A neighbour recommended Magill Motor Bodies & they did it for $400.

They did a fantastic job, on time & very friendly

No connection to them, just a happy customer.

Tonsley Crash Repairs were excellent for me. Australian Motors Mitsubishi use them for their warranty work.

Just be aware that all BullBars are mounted to the chassis legs looking how the bar has bent pressure is being applied in the middle of the bar which may have result in the legs being pulled inwards.

Check for gaps appearing or seams opening paint splitting etc. I would be asking the accident repair centre to check chassis measurements just because it looks minor doesn't mean there isn't unforeseen damage. Looking at the photos the Nearside mounting bracket looks bent,

            Thanks Markandliz.

            Yes I agree.

Had this thought as well after looking around and underneath today. Noticed bracket had moved approx 2-3mm forward. Will make a strong point to repairer about that.

            Thanks.
