    Disconnecting Window Motor

    Hi,

My rear power window motor keeps seizing. I want to disassemble and see if i can repair (i think the stator may have corrosion on it - as a gentle tap from a hammer gets it working again for a few days).

I would like to know if i can disconnect the motor from the cables or does the motor and guide/track have to come out as a complete unit as shown in the attached image?

    Thanks in advance

      Hi Al,

Thanks for the info. I should be right to remove, was just hoping that i didn't have to remove the entire assembly.

      Thanks,
      Dean
