    Knox Mitsubishi Service - Paul Hicks - Service Manager

    HI Everyone,

    I am the Service Manager from Knox Mitsubishi, I have an NS Pajero, and also a Member of the club , Qualifed Mechanic,and have been 4wdriving for many years so if you need any advice etc that we are able to help with... More than happy to help, you can email me anytime at work via

    All pajero club members and forum members will be given 10% discount on all parts/labour/accessories etc on any work we do, and we will always give you good honest advice regarding your vehicle.

    A few things that people may not be aware of about us;

    We service all makes and models, and specialise in all 4WD servicing.
    We DO still give 10% discount for pajero club members and forum members on their family members vehicles, even if they are not a mitsubishi vehicle, and we give very competitive service prices on other makes and models.
    We DO give 10% discount on new vehicles that are eligible for capped price service

    We have very competitive service specials from time to time as well.

    When calling, call me direct, or quote your membership number, or that you saw this on the forum..

      why aren't all Mitsu dealers like you guys (online presence, intro to forum members, actively asking for people to ask questions / offering advice opinions....pity you're not in ACT.

      I guess some dealers are still stuck in the 70's selling technique or is it the 80's, 90's hmm.

        Being in Narre Warren North and buying from Berwick, I think you may see ours when it comes to servicing. I have read nothing but good things about Knox.

          Welcome Paul,

          I wish there was a dealer like yourself in Newcastle area. You dont have a colleague up this way with the same ethics as Knox???

            No Worries at all, I am the Group Service Manager for Both Berwick and Knox, so when you are heading to berwick next, ask for Jeff McBride who is my Service Manager there, and he will look after you. Let him know you have been talking with me, and chances are you may see me down there anyway, as I am down there for 1-2 days per week anyway...

              I unfortunately don't know the Service Manager up your way, but certainly if I come across his name, or run into him at any Mitsubishi Meetings, I will have a chat with him so I can put you in contact with him.

              And of course if you are ever down this way, we are more than happy to accommodate any new customer work, or feel free to call in for a coffee and a chat.

                  Thanks Paul, I didn't know there was any realtionship between the 2. Would the 10% discount apply at Berwick well?

                      I think the difference here is that we genuinely love the product and we enjoy working with the product, it's not just a job, and I personally find it enjoyable talking with customers about their vehicles, particularly the 4WD aspect, which is a major component of our business.

                        Sure does, Berwick and Knox are owned by the same family, Knox and Berwick are a family business, and Being the Group Manager, I always extend our offers across both sites.

                        From time to time some of the specials on the forum will say to contact me directly - for these ones best contact me, but I can still book you into the Berwick workshop if you want to go to Berwick, all you need to do is let me know you would like to go there.

                        On occasions there may be particular specials that I am running out of Knox only, but it doesn't hurt to ask me if you can go to Berwick.

                          I don't know a lot of the dealers up that way, however this year I am doing a lot of work with their Service Managers Association, so I will be getting to know them quite well over the course of this year, when I find a good one, I will let you know...

                          P.S I have found over the years as a previous service advisor, and also have been a customer too... I tend to find that the best way to get good service as a customer, is to be really nice to the service advisor, I know there are times when that is hard, as I have come across many advisors who really need a lesson or two in customer service, never the less, I have been an advisor for many years prior to my current role, and I can only commend them for the tireless work they do, they are often on the receiving end of an Irate customer with a broken down car, or a repair that is not covered under warranty etc. I have found the best way to get a good price on a service, and the best Technician working on the car, is to be nice to the advisor, and they will go out of their way to look after you because you were "different" to the other 10 or 15 customers they looked after that day... Remember Mates look after Mates, and I have found the Service Advisor is the key to getting what you need when you have your car serviced. Play nice until I can find out which is the best one to go to like us...

                            Paul, The only problem is you guys are a long way from home. After picking up the car from Knox we have only returned with a window tint issue, very minor. The service I recieved was the best. Still waiting on the survey though, when does that normaly get sent out? Would like to tell of my pleasant experience.

                            Love the economy of the Challenger, best is highway 7.48 Lt/100 , worst is high country w/end 10.11 Lt/100.

                              Thanks for the great feedback, good to hear you are enjoying the vehicle, The mitsubishi survey should be out within 2 weeks, however I have had a couple of occasions where they seemed to get lost in the mail, or lost in transit due to a computer error of some description, so I would like to look into it a bit further to confirm...
