I have read some where that taking off the egr and the butterfly helps. But the question is does it and why? I know the egr is not a bad idea to delete. But why the butterfly

2014 NW VRX , Alloy ECB bar, Poly air bags, EGR fixed. EDS scan gauge, lockup mate.

If you remove the butterfly it will throw a code. It is actually designed to force the motor to draw gas from the EGR, as well as closing during shutdown. Been there done that...2016 Mitsubishi NX Pajero GLX
