Default How many KM have you got on yours, High milage Gen 4's hows it going?

Who has the highest mileage Gen4?

Curious about the run members that have approaching 300,000 km or more on their gen4's have had, whats needed work other than consumables and such.

Mine is still young I think at 80,000km and I intend to keep it around for the foreseeable future hopefully at least the next 10 years unless my needs change.

Mines approaching 130k and going strong, I keep my cars till they are long in the tooth and I'm hoping to get 300k plus out of her

The dropped fluid looks ruby red and transparent at each change, so the regular "partial change" seems to be keeping it fresh. Car has 408,000 on it now with no dramas.

Our NS has 255k km on it and we have had it since 135k km.

Really only done suspension, rear diff carrier bushes and clutch. Apart from that it's been basic servicing. I do Oil and filters every 10,000kms, including fuel filter as I buy a kit.

Time to reseal the inlet manifold (weeps a little since I cleaned it) and do the valves.

Hoping to get a lot more kms on the old girl and I love driving this car.

My NS has 205000kms and feels and drives brilliant. Im slowly in the process of changing various components.....shocks, sway bar mounts and links etc. Just to keep it fresh as I think with that kms on it and being 9 years old its due or will be soon.

276,000 km on mine, been the only owner. Apart from regular servicing I've changed the clutch, replaced 2 front CV joints, rear wheel bearing and EGR motor. Looking at doing all of the bushes and mounts soon. Bilsteins are probably due for replacement soon, almost 200,000km from them!

Interested in knowing where you purchase your oil filter, fuel filter and oil as a "kit" you mention

Did you do your rear diff carrier bushes yourself. If so are they difficult to replace? Mine need doing

No - my local mechanic did them.

Just the filters as a kit - I use Sydney Filters simply because I have always had excellent service and fast delivery.

Cheers,
James
