Hi ,new MCC bullbar arrived today not bad for 7 months,Tube model . SWB 2007 diesel. notice there is no winch cradle and turns out its bolted to the bar with the feet facing forward. Is this strong enough and is this normal for this model?. Cheers.

No idea if it's 'normal' for an MCC bar, but my ARB Deluxe bar has the same (no seperate cradle and the winch mounted feet forward directly into the bar).Originally posted by ski View PostSilver NT VRX Di-D

My MCC bar (Falcon) also allows for the winch to mount as you described - feet forward on the bar. I questioned it at the time too, but having now had need to do a big pull with it I can verify that it is indeed strong.2007 Shogun 3.2DID. UK Diamond Spec. Harrop Eaton front E-locker. MCC Bullbar. Runva 11XP winch. 17" Dotz rims with 32" STT Pro. Koni HT RAID 90 series with +2" EHD Lovells springs. ASFIR protection plates for engine & transmission. DIY steel rocksliders. LRA 81 litre auxiliary fuel tank. Waeco CFX-40. Home made drawers & fridge slide. Dual power - 120a/h AGM with CTEK DC-DC. LED lighting. 43 litre water tank with two electric pumps - one for tap (via filter) & one via heat exchanger.Comment

Thanks for the replies,Started to install MCC bullbar (now called a Mcarmor copy)certainly doesn't look very strong so will go with your opinions . The bolt on wings stick out way to far on the corners so will replace with a better approach pipe work . Went to assemble bullbar and decided to throw away the bolted corner wings stick out way to far my wife called it a bench seat and I will make up new corners. Fairlead didn't fit had to be re positioned and redrilled easy then cutting the opening .
