FYI tempered glass stops nearly all UVB and all the glass in car windows is tempered. The windscreen has a plastic layer sandwiched in it which stops UVA also, this is due to regulations. UVB burns the surface layers of your skin and UVA goes deeper and causes other damage. The privacy glass can remove some UVA and comes down to the individual manufacturer and products used to colour the glass. You can ask Mitsubishi how much UVA their privacy glass blocks and they should be able to answer this. I saw a response from Mitsi on this topic and they said their privacy glass blocks 94% of UV but the requestor and Mitsi themselves did not specify what type of UV. Someone needs to specifically ask them how much UVA their privacy glass blocks as this would then answer to whether adding a clear UV film is of any use.
