Recall - Ford Everest and Ranger

    this is a good one

    What are the defects?
In certain affected vehicles, the intermediate steering shaft weld may not meet required specifications, which may cause the steering column to detach from the steering gear.

    What are the hazards?
This condition could result in a loss of steering, increasing the risk of accident or injury.

That would be fun, fanging around the High Country and your steering craps out on Blue Rag .

Yeah but it's not a given it only may result in steering loss and only then that might increase the risk of accident or injury.

So many variables with no certainty.
