I wanted a Pajero but my wife didn’t want a car that big because at the time it was her daily driver so we were both happy with the challenger, but with the choices out there know there’s so many to choose from, don’t know if I want to stick to a wagon or go a Ute next

For the price nothing else came close in the new wagon market. I'm quite happy with the Challenger. I actually moved from a Pajero to the Challenger. The Challenger does a great job off-road, the Pajero was a bit of a heavy barge in comparison.

If I had the extra $30k I would have gone the Prado with the factory dual tank. But I'm happy sitting on the cash, even if I have to lug a few jerry cans around.
I've also been tempted by the Pajero Sport. The better low range and new automatic are tasty additions.

Bought our Challenger new based on price its a good car that could of been great had a bit more thought been put into it. Some days i wish i'd bought a 2nd hand Pajero.

If i could of stretched the budget i would of gone Isuzu and if money was no object my family would be getting around in one tricked out 79series

Yeah I wanted a Playdo but for what I paid for the Challenger new I was looking at a 6-7 year old Prado for the same money.

3 years ago wanted the most off road worthy vehicle I could get for the coin I had. Challenger won hands down.

Been a little disappointed in the auto trans but nothing else.

Next time 'round? Always been a fan of Isuzu builds and diesels but would need a bit of tricking up.

                        Cheers

I think I have narrowed it down to 3 Pajero sport tops the list then I guess I’m down to the new triton or even the new Navara I’ve drove my dads a bit and it’s a really nice truck coil spring rear end unlike the rest of the Utes been leaf sprung, and the 6 speed manual pairs up nice to its motor but I’m pretty sure what ever I get is going to be an auto for the second time ever after owning 20 odd cars
