Definitely don't have that on my one, but looks like a good spot for mounting switches. Now just have to get some air-lockers to cater for the new switch spot
Dont think its a factory switch location, but I agree, looks like a perfect spot for a couple of switches! Might put my reversing/camp light switch there (when I make/buy a light).

my guess is the previous owners used a rear window demister switch to power something else. I am using a rear demister switch out of a 80s magna for my driving lights (exactly the same switch shape as the pajeros standard demister switch)

i think it's for the factory fog lights from an import and yeah great place for extra switches

On my Gen 2 that spot was empty, but I moved my antenna switch there when the diff lock went in.
