Hi all loving my pajero but have lately noticed a clunk in the rear on changing gears most noticeable changing from 2nd to 3rd ,saw something about diff mounting bushes just wondering if someone can offer suggestions on the cause , it’s a 2008 ns diesel manual

Pajero IO 1.8L 4g93 GDI Turbo engine swap with 4g94 2.0L
Hi,
I am new in this forum and apologies if i am intruding into a thread here.
i have a burning issue that i hope your good selves will advise on.
I have a Pajero IO H76W 1.8l GDI Turbo (4G93) engine. I recently removed the engine and replaced it with a 4G94 2.0L non- turbo. The vehicle runs but cannot shift gears from 3-4, but it does the shifting from 1,2 and 3 quite well. Did i miss out on something during the engine swap.
PS: the swap was done by my "mechanic"Comment
