Injector Lines common rail, injector seats sealing

    Hi
with the 3.2 and 2.5 in the Pajero and Challenger have they been having the Erosion issue that Toyota has with the d4d?
also have they had the issues with injector seats in the head leaking ether oil in or combustion out causing blocked sump pick up's?

why they dont run unit injectors has me stuffed much better system

The answer to the above is no.

There was one case of runaway reported here a couple of months ago. AFAIK that was the only one.

There are many high K common rail engines here with no drama.

      cool thanks for that
Run away's can be caused by a lot things so i wouldn't put it down to injectors unless the got it stopped before exploding.
