          Fuel Consumption

Amazingly close to mine as well - 2004 auto 3.2 DiD, 235000km gets 10.7 l/km.

My previous car, Subaru Outback returned 10 l/km over 7 years of averages, so very happy with a 3 tonne Pajero being about the same as the Subi!

I used to get 10.5-11/100km around town and about 10 on highway before roof basket. Now I get 11.5-12/100km around town and 11 on highway with roof basket. I'm happy with that.
I have 265/75/16 AT-M tyres and mine is a manual. I think the tyre pressure also plays a part so I will pump it up to 40psi to see if it makes any difference. I used to have them at 32psi.
