    CV Shalfts

    Hello members

I've recently put muddies on my 1995 nj , previously ran ST coppers A/T's, I'm now snapping left hand cv shalfts, Two in a week while climbing rocky track. It has auto lokka in the front, Does anyone know where I can get hold of tougher cv shalfts currently using reconditioned genuine ones, they are much tougher then repco chinese ones but looking for something stronger.

    Any information will be great........Cheers

nothing available aftermarket that is stronger than the genuine, I have a fair amount of lift and have gone down the road of A/M CV's myself and there is nothing I know of that is stronger (eg chrome moly) but genuine are a pretty robust design and if you can get good ones then its not so bad, have a look as well I have a thread about using gen 3 inners on gen 2 shafts - it only works for the 3.5 basically but if its the inner that is blowing then the gen 3 can be used to replace it
