    Dash speaker wiring help

    Trying to replace dash speaker with a fusion speaker but unsure of wiring The original has 2 wires [white/blue] - [black/blue] the fusion has positive & negative any help to witch goes where would be good please

    Sounds like black/ blue is common earth - negative on speaker.

      To be sure of the polarity check the outputs on the head unit
      (or the amp, not sure what you are running) and see what the corresponding colours are, or make sure both left and right speakers are the same. If the speakers are out of phase with each other you loose bass as the speakers are moving in the opposite directions, cancelling each other out. If you are running them as high/mids with a crossover itll be difficult to tell, but as long as they are in phase with eachother you should be okay regardless of the polarity.

      As they are only 6 inch you dont get a lot of bass response anyway, i run more level to the rears (front/rear fader) so they dont get distorted.
