          Wow, paddle shift.

I wonder if they fixed the steering rate or the anchor point locations.
Or improved engine noise, or gave the auto 400nm, or..

Sorry, but I just did a test drive this morning and was a little disappointed.

Yeah I think the 3000 kg towing capacity and option of the MMCS on the XLS makes it a bit more attractive.

Paddle shift on a 4x4 just isnt right... Is designed for performance cars not 4x4's.

                My quick opinion-
Would not select the MMCS as an option, its a very sensible deletion as a standard fitment, perhaps MM has taken note of negative comments re the Challenger version--though reverse camera is good, dont need paddle shift either, not impressed with them on other cars I have driven, (Alfa 147, Statesman and Golf GTI) HID lights and power passenger seat would be allright as would the choice of beige leather, price reduction is attractive though and the 3000kg upgrade could attract a few buyers.

I think your right, the MMCS being an option on the XLS is a smart move. The 3000kg towing limit is a great move athough it might overshadow the Pajs towing ability. As for the paddles I am going to reserve my judgement until I get into one and try it.
Overall I think it is a good upgrade package.

I think it would really struggle with anything near 3000k

The big one for me is have they changed the child seat anchor points??? With standard bluetooth the price is effectively the same for an LS. The gunmetal color on the tritons would also be a great addition over ironbark but sadly not

Does the 3000 kgs towing capacity of the Challenger indicate the next model Paj will have a towing capacity above 3000 kgs?

Released and effective June 21, 2010, Mitsubishi has announced details of the 2011 model year Challenger range.
For the people that may know, does that mean every Challenger ordered after June 21 2010, gets the MY11 spec??

Another reply to a post (Cory) suggests that latest ordered Challenger may be 2011 spec. (I can't get a straight answer from dealer, he is getting back to me)

                            Regards,
                            Carl

Don't think that is the case Carl. Ordering the vehicle you would have to specify you want a MY 2011. June 21 was only the release of the info!
