Passenger side mirror - 2014 NW WTB

Hi

I hit a branch with my passenger side mirror and cracked the mirror itself

A bit of a wing and a prayer - but has anyone upgraded to bigger towing mirrors and have the originals lying around that they do not want/need?

Happy to pay postage and $$$ for the item.

With or without indicator? I think I've got a spare without indicator in the garage somewhere...

Thanks eman - I'm actually only looking for the glass mirror itself. I'm not really sure how but there is no damage to the plastic surrounds, electronics or anything...

Amayama has the glass listed for just over $100 for info. Part number is 7632A521

If it is only the glass which has been damaged, you can probably get a glazier to cut a new mirror and simply glue it in place. The disadvantage of that is that the mirror would be simply a flat mirror not a convex one.

After 7 years with convex mirrors on both our vehicles, I still cannot always align myself properly in parking bays with the convex mirrors.

Check this seller in eBay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182425739409 NS to NX has the same mirror. Right and left available last time I check. They also sell the whole side mirror for reasonable price.

Haven't arrived yet - but I'm thinking I may have got the wrong ones. I know the post above says the NS - NX have same glass - I hope that is right - anyone know for sure?

The only diffrences for gen4's are wether or not the glass contains a demisting circuit. Your my14 vrx has the mirror demisters which turn on with the windscreen demister.

The NS LWB VRX and Exceed along with the SWB X models all had demister in exterior mirrors as standard so hopefully its the right one.

I installed this on the weekend and can confirm it was the correct part. It was the genuine Mitsubishi item and came in a MM box and all.

Very easy to replace - angle the mirror all the way up and then pull the base of the mirror out and up a bit - it just pops off two catches there. Disconnect the two wires - reconnect new ones - clip the top part of the mirror in then press the base firmly in - VOILA - done. I reckon it took me longer to type this than do it.
