NT Platinum is Awesome!!

Hi Guys,

We picked up the Silver NT DID auto Platinum yesterday. Oh boy, what a beautiful car. Have only gone 25ks, but the power and smoothness is fantastic for a diesel. My husband can't believe how nice it is to drive.

The reversing camera is brilliant, the auto air great and the MMCS fab.

Getting the tint done as we speak and the dual bateries etc on Monday.

Will try and post a couple of photos. The Genuine alloy bullbar, although exxy, looks really first class. Have a look at one beofre you get the aftermarket ones. It really looks classy.

We're lucky with the tow hitch. We have a Jayco Offroad van and the coupling is at the bottom of the A-frame, so you can open the door without the wheel hitting the hitch. All the Jayco Outbacks are like this apparently, so that's great.

Very pleased with the attention to detail and handover from Zupps at Helensvale. Can highly recommend them.

Let us know what the dual battery rig is and what you pay. I am looking at something similar for my platinum (manual) to run a fridge. Can't decide whether to DIY, or pay thru the nose. I would be interested in what you get for what you pay.

Sally what plates did you get....mine are 2009 which surprised me a little

We've got a GL NT + Jayco Outback Eagle.
In our case, we needed the spare wheel lift kit to open the door ($99 trade, easy to fit yourself), but our CT has a standard hitch and jockey wheel doesn't swing away.

At a guess, I would say Build plate of Oct 2009.

Mine was Sept 2009, as would any car that's made between now and Dec 31st 2009, even if you get an MY10 spec car now, it would have a build plate of 2009.

Am not sure if this is correct. My dealer told me that the care we get will be duilt in Dec but i get it only in Jan, it will be a MY10 and also have a 2010 build plate......

Any one else been told the same?

I wished my NT X DiD SWB is a cool silver, well it's the second last or third last SWB in Aust at the time of purchase so colour wasn't an option.
