What goes here? (dash piece missing)

Hey guys,
Just picked up a 2011 Pajero NT and there is a piece missing on the dash. I cannot seem to locate a pic on the net that shows or tells me what to look for in order to find a replacement piece.
Can anyone help out?

Depending on your model, it’s either heated seat switches or it’s just a blank...

Missing blanking plate for left & right seat heating switches. Or, depending on your model, missing switches for same.

I did a features via vin check and the list said i have heated seats, but it also said i have rockford fosgate, which i do not. Is there a reliable 'features' check via vin that you guys use?

Did your vehicle's previous owners upgrade to a later model Pajero? Or have a good friend with a lower spec Pajero? Possibly they stripped certain options to install in another vehicle.

There is evidence that your heated seats have been removed (hole where the switches were). I don't have the Rockford Fosgate system either, so I don't know what it includes, but have you had a bit of a look for evidence of other "missing" bits of trim?

Heated seats look too complicated to swap and not worth it. Same for Rockford which consists of a head unit, amplifier, different speakers and a subwoofer.

Well the NT GLX didn't get heated seats, not even an option. Only VRX and Exceed.

Also what I'm reading says the stereo is standard one not Rockford Fosgate. From Pajero brochure for NT.

It could be the previous owner used the blank to install aftermarket switch for lights, compressor, winch basically anything. Or just it fell out or broke for whatever reason and didn't replace it.

How the heck did you know that and why did they remove it?
I ripped my console and dash apart today in anticipation for my head unit and wiring harness that should arrive this week and removed some random loose wiring that was on there as well
