    Check out this 4WD Mazda Bongo van seen in Nozawa, a Japanese ski resort village near Nagano. The have some very interesting variants up here

        You can see on the side how much spray this thing throws up in action, there were some very steep slopes just outside the village. This was my first trip to Japan, we saw all sorts of vehicles there including AWD anything & everything in the alpine areas - 800cc engine capacity utes, tiny people movers, things the size of Toyota Yaris with 2 diffs...

          Awesome. Mum and Dad had a couple of Bongo vans in the 70's, wish they were more like this.
