Default Solid Axle Conversion

Has anyone done a solid axle conversion using a gu/gq patrol diff?

no, people have used a hilux diff before.

was 1995 GLX Pajero 3.5 DOHC, 35" Mickey thompson muddies , China 4x4 fiberglass flares, UHF GME, cheapo snorkel, prado 120 drawers, dual battery system, BMK sliders,2" GQ flexy coils and front Eaton E locker.
(bottom end gone)

Now 1999 Pajero NL exceed, transfer everything over from NJ

To do: 150l tank and 3:15 reduction gears (in parts)

and I believe there is a jeep diff that has been used in some places.... One guy here was puting a Paj on to a GQ chassis as well

1994 NJ 3.0 now with a 2000NL 3.5 engine and driveline, 2.5 catback, 32" MT Deegan 38's, 1" body lift, front diff drop with front tension rods indexed and cranked an 3", 3" on the rear coils
*** retired to the big wrecking yard in the sky***
1998 NL blisterside, 285.75.16's on -22 rims 3" suspension lift, stealth winch install, custom front control arms, NJ GLS flares and some camping gear in the back

.... and 1990 Nissan Z32 300zx for on road shenanigans

yeah i would love to use a dana 60 or gu diff

GU diffs front and rear would be great but the front would need to be flipped for our stuff - the rear would olny be slightly bigger than ours but is damn tough - biggest issue would be crazy wide lol...... Gearing would be crap though

GU front diff is on the driver's side, Pajero transfer case front output is on the left side. Big job to make that work.

NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 Toyo MT, Lift, Lockers, 3.15 gears, LRA Aux tank, bullbar, winch, lights, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!

Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....

would be sweet for a weekend warrior, you can get 4.88 or 5.13 patrol diff gears.
