Reading the troubleshooting PDF, the symptoms match a faulty speed sensor - input or output.

Input sensor is B, output sensor is G.

From memory, geopaj had a problem with a speed sensor being chewed out by a failing transfer case. Have a look for speed sensors - they should be pretty easy to pull out and inspect.

      Thanks OJ, Rugga,Terryo and Nj

I originally check for codes by earthing pin 1 with no codes logged.

I bought some ramps today so I can have a better look under the truck, once I remove the bash plates. So I can check the wire harness and sensors.

Try to drive her today but still in limp mode.

Check oil again cold to see the level and its still up on the top hot notch is this right or should it be down on the cold notch? if that's the case then its overfilled.

      Cheers
      Marty

Agree but would also throw a code 22 (input) or 23 (output)

Woop - are you sure you earthed pin 1, because of the orientation and position of the plug its a very easy mistake to earth pin 9 by accident - Believe me, I know!

I would try read the codes again being very certain I got it right. Its a quick and free exercise to do.

Take note of the shape of the diagnostic port and the location of pin 1

As long as the battery has not been disconnected since the last issue, it should show something unless as OJ says, limp mode doesn't register but that in its self is something.

Ps. I should have just asked if the last time you did the fault code read did the relevant lights all just flash the constant .5sec intervals?

          Hi Rugga,

I must have had the right pin because It was flashing in .5sec intervals.

          Cheers

              Hi Rugga,
Out of memory it was just the N flashing.

Would anyone know why after changing the auto fluid the truck is worst off now by staying in limp mode?

                Cheers

Apparently there are a few tricks to doing a full ATF change and/or flush on the Paj.
This is a great write up on how to go about it.

Did you flush or just change the fluid?

Did a full flush but didn't drop the pan. Pump over 10lts through before I was happy with it.

Could the reason for me being in permanently Limp Mode after I change the transmission fluid with a full flush (but did not drop the pan) is because I used Penrite ATF FS instead of Mits SP2 ATF?

                          Cheers

From previous reading Marty I do believe the use of the 'genuine' ATF is vital in these transmissions. That may well be part of your issues.
Others with more experience will comment I'm sure.
