    Bracket thing left foot well

    Wondering what the bracket is for in the left foot well about knee level left leg .Just in front of the bottom door hinge

        From what I have heard around the traps the bracket is for an umbrella. Go figure!

            Probably a flare holder for the Japanese market. Do they still have to carry road flares there? It was common to see in Mazda MX-5 Imports, some of which still had the flare kit in place.

                      I used that bracket to hold an auxiliary power socket. Works well. Quite often gets used with a USB adapter to charge the increasing number of devices we seem carry these days.

                        Since we're all speculating (I'd agree with Flare holder),,,,, How about somewhere for the cops to put their baton since the Pajero is popular with the force.....
