Cruise control question

Hi guys,

I have a 1994 2.8TD Pajero and the cruise vacuum pump is faulty. Looking online all the second hand ones listed are for the petrol. They physically look the same. Can anyone confirm if they are compatible across petrol/diesel?

So after investigation apparently they are not the same.

[Just Cruzin]

May just be the cable length to the throttle body.
