    jp,

Saw your set up and like it.
Just a Bunnings bracket wasnt it ?... dont have the part number by chnace ?... longshot.
Did you have to re drill bolt holes ?

presume no where to fit on passenger side ?... prefer over there instead of bang in eyeline.
    thanks mate

It just so happens I took a photo of the sticker (apologies for the rubbish quality).
        Yes, I had to re-drill holes (maybe only 1 I can't remember).
I had to bend it slightly more acute than 90 degrees.
It had to go on the drivers side as there were no mounts on the passenger side.
My antenna is a steel whip, so hardly noticeable.

I recall seeing a thread once by someone who made a mount which attaches to the bonnet hinge (up by the windscreen) and drilled a hole in the plastic cowl panel big enough for the antenna base. This was a very neat solution, but I can't find the thread now.

And one more idea is a few members have made a bracket to mount the antenna off the spare wheel cover. Again, very neat.

          Jr,

thanks for that mate, hopefully they have the same one in stock still.

One last question is did you reuse the existing bolts or whack in longer ones ?

          Thanks
          Craig

I am pretty sure I used the standard bolts, but put some washers under them to "push" the bracket more towards the front.

              Gday All,

Guided by JP's version I found a few hole on the passenger side that I could use to mount a bracket with some M8 nuts and bolts with the bracket poking through a slot dremeled through the grill. Turned oit pretty good....
              Thanks for all advice.
