To celebrate 30 years of Mitsubishi in Australia, Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has introduced the 30th Anniversary Edition Challenger which includes enhanced safety features combined with stylish touches to offer a value-packed vehicle.
Safety has been increased in the 30th Anniversary Edition Challenger with the inclusion of side and curtain airbags and reverse camera function, giving greater visibility to drivers while reversing. The camera monitor automatically appears in the electro-chromatic rear-view mirror when reverse gear is engaged.
The Challenger?s interior receives a host of luxury upgrades including leather-bound steering wheel and gear selector while cabin convenience is enhanced through the addition of climate control, steering wheel audio controls and Bluetooth. Also included in the limited edition model is the Mitsubishi Power Sound System with eight speakers for superior in-car sound.
The durable Challenger?s exterior also receives a number of changes including privacy glass, fog lamps and special edition 30th Anniversary badges.
The 30th Anniversary Edition Challenger is available in two- and four-wheel drive variants with a 2.5-litre turbo-charged diesel engine and the choice of five-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
MMAL President and CEO, Genichiro Nishina, said the companies? 30th Anniversary Edition model gives customers the opportunity to purchase the hard-working, versatile Challenger with premium features at an affordable price.

The Challenger 30th Anniversary Edition offers high-level occupant and driver safety with RISE body protection, ABS braking system with EBD, electronic stability control and driver and passenger SRS airbags.
Available in Charcoal, Cool Silver, Ironbark, Terra Rossa, Dark Blue, White and Black the Challenger 30th Anniversary Edition is a value-packed addition to the versatile Challenger line-up.
The Challenger 30th Anniversary Edition is covered by Mitsubishi?s 10 year / 160,000 km non-transferrable drive-train warranty, five year / 130,000 km new vehicle warranty, free five year/130,000km Roadside Assist and Capped Price Servicing for the first four years or 60,000 km of ownership*.
