Valve adjustment cost and frequency

Got the valves checked yesterday.

$607 from Alto Mitsubishi Pennant Hills including gasket seal set.

First time was 43,000Kms
Second time was now at 92,000kms

Wonder when I should get it checked the next time?

200,000klms. Waste of money any sooner. These motors are bullet proof once set up correctly. Did they supply the readings from the valves as to the clearance ?

They did not provide the readings. Would have been nice (would not mean much to me) but good to see if there was any movement etc.

I wonder if they record them somewhere before adjusting etc

Perhaps I can should call them and ask.

My mechanic said it will be around $450 from memory.
