Default Underbody protection

Hi all,

Heading to the flinders ranges in September this year. Will I need bash plates to do tracks such as skytrek.

I just bought a set of Boos Bash Plates. They are so new to me that they were in my driveway this afternoon.
Karen was a real nice person to deal with. My mate tried to convince me that the bash plates he bought 6 months ago were better than what I bought. It turned out he had bought Boos also.

That's my 2c worth.

It could be me soimg the old justification of my purchase trick but we shall see...

No and yes, a stock Gen 4 Pajero will be fine on the easier tracks in the Flinders Ranges but you do run the risk off damaging the intercooler if you slip into some ruts. An intercooler plate and a sump plate are very cheap insurance when venturing off road.
You are more likely to have tyre problems if you are running HT passenger construction tyres at highway pressures, the rocks in the Flinders Ranges are sharp edged and nasty.
