    Drivers door mirror damaged

    Hi All,
Looking for cost efficient way of repair/replacement of drivers door mirror assembly.
After impacting garage opening, when reversing, the mirror is now not holding position so will most likely fold inwards when driving. The stow function still operates.
Is this simply a choice of wreckers or dealership? Is Amayama an option?
Also is DIY replacement easy enough?
    TIA

Are you sure it is broken?

Sometimes the mirror just needs to be folded back & forwards to reset it - makes a loud click when it locks back into it's fitting.

do you have pics to show how bad it is? maybe you can get some parts to repair instead of replacing it as a whole.

Easy fix. 3 bolt behind trim. Buy a second hand set. They often come up for less than $200 on gumtree for a set with blinkers.

Sqeezed past the NW pushing the mirror forward and the mirror was loose.
Folded it back and all the way forward then it clicked back into position.

Thanks everyone. Solid advice to a panicked owner. Might have gotten away with mainly cosmetic damage. Drive mech for deploy/stow function reset and ok for now!
            Appreciate everyone’s help!👏
