We're travelling at the moment & towing a small c/van. Our 98 Pajero is Dual Fuel, runs like magic on gas; but when we run it on Petrol the warning light comes on "Check emission control system". Has anyone had any problems or can anyone shed any light on what could the problem be? Am new to this site & hoping that someone may be able to assist. Cheers Anne & Kel

It will be in your manual if you have it. But LWB is 92 Litres (for the petrol), I'm not sure what the SWB is.2007 NS X, SWB, 3.2L Di-D, Automatic. Accessories: iCom UHF, Dual Battery System, Nudge Bar and an Engel for keeping the important stuff cold.

Thx Fro for that. We haven't been running it on petrol very much, just realised that could be a problem...fuel guage is close to empty & it only took 38 litres, so we're a bit confused. It does need a service, so maybe will get them to check it. Not sure if the tank is smaller because of the gas. Our vehicle is LWB.

If I start off on ULP the "check emission" warning light dosen't come on, but if I'm running on Gas & then change over to petrol, the warning light comes on. Am going to get a tune-up & see if that fixes the problem, also I've put through a couple of premium ULP tankfulls, which seem to be helping it run better.
Like the other guys, I have flashing 4wd lights too!!!
Cheers
Anne
