Hi, did you find the source of the noise?

I believe it's the turbo charger gasket, But I have not replaced it yet, maybe next week.

I had a similar noise, replaced air conditioner pulley and tighten air conditioner belt to the spec using 'CarlTune' app. This app is used to tune music instruments but also can pickup vibration of belts and show frequency.
The engine is less noisy now, I reckon idler pulley bearing was worn out.
I'll keep an ear out for that noise, hopefully it is fixed.

Hmmmm. Interesting. I wouldn’t have thought turbo gasket woULD make that noise? For me it was air con belt too. Tightened it and noise went away.

I have replaced all belts recently, so it's not from the belts.

When I have cleaned up the turbo charger and output manifold, the turbo charger gasket is broken, which is multiple layers, which can cause high pitched noise as I heard from another member.

I'm going to find out next week.

Eventually I have fixed it, the high pitched noise is the broken turbo mounting gasket. Ordered new one before lockdown, replaced it and oil and coolant gasket.
                The high pitched noise disappeared.

But, I found a different noise like squeak after cold start and speed up.

Then I bought drive belt tensioner pulley from repco.

As I replaced drive belts no long ago.

Also, I adjusted the tension as well.

                  It's noise free now.

Hope that helps someone with same problem.

I don't think it's from engine as it is no noise on idle or warm up.

Gents, i had the same problem here, the same noise on random cold mornings. How should i start ? Replacing AC pulley and then to check chain guide? Pajero 2018, 100k km.
                      Thanks.
