Mounting driving lights on an ECB Big Tube Bullbar

    Hi folks,
My recently purchased 2011 NT Pajero is fitted with the ECB Big Tube Bullbar (not the similar winch bar). The description on the ECB website claims driving light mounting points. There are no holes/blanking plugs on mine and there doesn't seem to be anything like reinforcing anywhere that would indicate a spot that should be drilled. Has anyone retrofitted lights to this model bar? Would a reinforcing plate be advisable, as I am concerned about the mounting bolt pulling through soft alloy? Perhaps just the washer would be enough? I have the substantially sized Hella Rallyee 4000s from a previous vehicle. The winch bar looks very similar and is shown with mounted driving lights. Should just contact ECB I guess, perhaps they'll do a trade-in?

I had an ecb bar on my NP. Just drill holes in the flat part of the front bar. The alloy is about 5mm thick so its plenty strong, well mine was anyway. You could always use an oversize washer underneath if you are worried about it.
