Oki doki, another accessory done, and probably one of the most important. I have now finally got another set of spotties all mounted up, I ended up getting a set of Lightforce 240 Blitz, I was looking at getting the XGT as that is what I had previously but now with the winch installed I am glad I decided on the blitz. They sit forward a little more and allow for easy access down through the top of the bullbar to the clutch on the winch etc.
I will take a couple of pics in the morning but I think they really finish off the front of the paj very nicely. Now all I need to do is import some HID's I plan on converting the spotties to 70w HID and the fog lights and high beams to 35w HID. I have been informed that because the SWB X and atleast the Exceed have self leveling headlights this is actually a legal mod, of course you wouldn't use all that light output until your out in the boonies anyway, but after hitting around a dozen roos and a couple of close calls on a few bulls on our last WA trip being able to see is crucial when you do a lot of night driving out there.
On a different note I have done 3 tanks of fuel in the last week each of which has consistently returned about 50km more per tank since the exhaust has been done. I had been babying it around for the last few months trying to get the tires to last through the cape trip but I have resigned myself to the fact that I really need to put some fresh ones on. So I have been driving her a little harder in particular the first 1/4 of this tank and I still got a significant amount more kms before I got to the 3/4 full mark.
Cheers,
Kieron
