Hi,
I'm new to forums and recently purchased a 2005 NP pajero 3.2 turbo diesel. 268000ks on the clock but it's in tidy condition.
My name is James and the pajero is basically for the missus to run around with the kids whilst I'm at work and for camping trips the odd evening on the beach etc.
Next week is a big week for the paj it's getting a stereo upgrade I'm fitting a Kenwood ddx4019bt head unit to replace the stock radio and 6 disc stacker. Plus installing a pair of Elinz 9" DVD headrests to keep the kids entertained and completing a full fluid flush so servicing the basics engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter plus changing the front and rear diff oils, transfer box oil and flushing the automatic transmission fluid oh and replacing the upper timing chain guide whilst I'm there.
I'm fairly mechanically switched on and for the past 10 years have carried out all my own work including servicing, brakes (something good in some ways about WA not required to be a licensed mechanic to replace brakes) on my old 06 Hilux I replaced alternator, ps pumps installed winch dual battery system spotlights etc etc.
Just wondering if anyone can give me any heads ups or advice before I get firing away on giving the paj a birthday. Main reason for such a big service is a trip to kalbarri in 3 weeks.
Cheers
James.
