Default Broken Engine Mounts

2012 NW Platinum in for 60000k service and timing chain recalI. I asked the dealer to investigate rough upshifts and rough idle in 4WD low with brake on.
Just had a call from the dealer, Broken Engine Mounts. Car has done almost no off road work.
I asked if this was common was told no, but they have seen a few.
Will be replaced under warranty.
Has anybody else had this issue ?
Cheers
Ken

I assumed that "rough idle in 4x4 low range when stopped" was normal? Mine has done this since I got it.

I complained about the rough idle while in drive (high range) sitting at the lights for instance, about 6 months ago. Dealer said bring vehicle in to the check engine mounts, said yes that's the problem. Had to wait a week to get both left and right hand side mounts in stock. Both engine mounts were changed, what a difference? Idle now smooth as a baby's. Service were surprised how stuffed the LHS mount was? Completely in 2 pieces. Very happy with result. I had some idea it was the engine mounts, as it had been mentioned before on the forum. Must admit I have not tried to see how idle is now in Low Range, but I suspect that will have improved as well. Will let you know, sometime soon.

Default broken engine mounts

Got the paj back, difference is amazing. Interestingly the invoice noted "Sagged" engine mounts.
At least there were no warranty hassles.

They also replaced a MIAU900093 valve (whatever that is, i didn‘t get a chance to ask) for $128.00.
Thankfully included in the capped prices service.
Cheers

Same, rough as when stopped in 4 low. It is fine in high range when stopped. Noticed it for first time on the snow trip and it was the cars first time in low range.

I think you will find that they are all rough idling in 4wd low first, the torque converter seems to fight the low 1st gear.

Cheers

It is only rough in 1st 4wd low range, I assumed it was the torque converter also.

Default Broken Engine Mounts

I don't believe its the torque converter, since Mitsubishi changed my engine mounts idle in ALL ranges is smooth.
