    pajero nj needs motor lic perth for sale 1800 ono perth

    i have my pajero nj 3lt v6 for sale for 1800 ono i put on recond heads after putting it together i went to start it it started 30 sec then i make a loud bang noise i notice timing belt slipped heaps i can afford to fix so selling as is
    has bullbar full gls seats gls dash set up new tyres 3 month ago 235/75/15 with factory wheels i have taken out all my stereos cbs and gps also has roof console any interest call me 0408948940 shaine
    94 nj lwb v6 3l 2 inch lift kit full gls extras fitted bullbar spottie glalour fitted with wife and 2 kids

      mate these are a free running engine so a slipped timing belt should not cause major dramas. what area are you in? might be able to take a look at it for you. also any pics may know someone who may be interested.

        yeah I'm back in perth from wednesday so I can pitch in a hand of is not going to be that much really. if it's simple then hey why not fix it!

        not like I'm working or anything - time I have, money I don't!

            martin7 i thought these engines are not free running because aif the timing belt brakes it hits the pistons on the valves and engine is stuffed that what i have read on the forum
            used to be nl 1999 auto,3.5lt petrol.
            now 1994 80 series cruiser diesel wagon
            bull bar side steps, mags,dual batt system,2 waecos 35lt,40lt h/reese towbar,103amp agm batt, 500w inverter. narva spotties, uniden uh7700nb uhf 40 ch narrow band, 2.5kva inverter generator

              From what I know the 3l is non interference and the 3.5l is interference so you should be Ok.

                100% free running engine on 3.0lts as stated but the 3.5lts aren't.

                    to my knowledge all 3.0lt engines are free running they all used to run the same pistons
