Finally got the beastie - ship from Japan to Vancouver, train to Winnipeg.

The Pajero looks great. 107,000 kms, but looks brand new. It's an Exceed. I was surprised by the bench folded into the floor at the back. Also got a new collection of 6 Japanese music CDs. My favourite song so far is Tracy Chapman's Fast Car in Japanese...

Turn out the "camping kit" was a movable gas stove/sink combination that did not make it on to the ferry to Canada. They don't like loose stuff in vehicles that tend to get tossed about on a rough passage.

A question: am I right in saying the oil capacity with filter is 9.6 l?

Sounds about right - my 2004 3.2L Diesel Paj takes 9.5L
