    4wd service on dash

    Just washed the car
High pressure washed around front wheels and bash plate.
    Now I have 4wd flashing with a ā€œ!ā€ Saying 4wd service required.
Iā€™m thinking just a bit of water around sensors
    Any ideas anyone??

I wonder if you have washed dirt into the wheel sensors that are used by the Anti Skid Braking, Vehicle Stability Control and other systems.
The sensors are magnetic, but dirt between the sensor and the toothed ring on the wheel hub can upset them.
Or your wash water has entered one of the connectors on the wires going to the sensors, causing an error reading.
