    Radio Code

Can anyone tell me if there is a code for the radio in an ns for when the battery is disconnected. I didn't get one with the vehicle and if it is required I will chase one up through Mitsubishi.

      Thanks I'll look again.

I had a look in my Dad's NT RX which he bought new last year and he doesn't have a card either.

So from what you are saying the NS does require a code for the radio.

Just spoke to local Mitsubishi dealer who said that neither the NS or the NT have a code for the radio.

He thought they were going to code the radio to the VIN number of the vehicle. Wasn't sure if they had done it yet or are doing it in a future model.

Guess I will find out when I need to disconnect the battery next.

Mate, I've disconnected and replaced the battery in my NS, no dramas with the radio, other than having to retune the preset stations.

I've removed my radio from the car, put in an MMCS, then after about 2 months, put the original radio back in... no problems, no codes asked for.
